Mr David Fletcher,

has over 30 years experience in designing and facilitating learning experiences for community development and social change practitioners, educators and managers.  His work has taken him across Canada and to numerous countries in Africa and Asia.  He is known for challenging participants not to accept “business as usual” or for relying on “good intentions”, but to take a stand on what learning interventions can make a real change in communities.  David is known for his authenticity as a change maker and creative educator and for respecting and building on participants’ local and indigenous knowledge.  David has worked with numerous universities and international NGOs and is the former Director of Education Programs at the Coady International Institute.
